Paul Poirier

Paul Poirier youngest brother to Phyllis, John and Mike, who are the children of Philip Poirier former conductor in Hornepayne has passed away suddenly on the past weekend.

The funeral is to be held Monday Feb. 8th 2:00 PM at St. Patrick's Cathedral on the corner of McCaul and Dundas Sts. Toronto.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 99 Harbour Square 10th floor following the funeral.

 

 
   

Dolores P (nee Forth) Nelson

NELSON, Dolores P (nee Forth) - Born April 26, 1929, passed away peacefully at Roberta Place, Barrie, Ontario on January 22, 2010 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her loving husband Howard (1987) of Barrie, parents Bill and Eva Forth, brother Doug Forth all of North Bay. Survived by children Robert (Terry) of Barrie, Debra (George Hudson) of Hornepayne and Thomas (Christine Moore) of Tweed. Also left to mourn the passing of their Grandma and Grammy are grandchildren Jennifer (Neil MacLean), Dayna Hudson (Johnathon Brownrigg), Stephanie, Sarah (Greg), Bryce and Austin and great granddaughter Norah. Dory will also be sadly missed by her siblings June (Art Seago) of Alliston, Elva Corrigan, Karen (Louis Ricci), Frank (Kathy), Neil (Suzanne), Gary, Ken, all of North Bay and Ron (Cheryl) of Imperial PA as well as many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Patricia Nelson and Sheila Maroosis. Friend to many, Dory will be fondly remembered by Paula, Blair, Sarah, Aline, Shirley of Barrie and best buddy Therese of Roberta Place. Friends will be received at SCOTT FUNERAL HOME - Georgian Chapel, 264 Burton Ave., Barrie On (705) 737-2040 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.

Eileen Stinson

In Memory of Eileen Margaret (Cooper) Stinson
born Sept. 30 1949   Died March 15, 2008 at the age of 58 years
Loving mother of two George Stinson of Hamilton, Barbara Stinson of Hornepayne and grandmother of three Tijana and Kirsten Stinson of Hamilton and Justin Dube-Stinson of Hornepayne.
Pre deceased by her loving Husband of 30 years Frank Stinson. She will be sadly missed by friends and family.

 

   

Edith Wilson Ward Storry
 
Was taken from us unexpectedly on Sunday,
December 23, 2007, in her 88th year.
 
Beloved Wife of the late Alfred Lyons.
Proud Mother of Five, Carol, Marilyn,
Dorothy, and the late Gerald and Edward.
 
Loving Grandmother of thirteen,  Gail, Gary,
Linda, Paula, Bill, Jayson, Clayton, Michael,
Richard, Crystal, Kristi, Darren and Robert.
 
Loving Great-Grandmother of fifteen, Hunter,
Kayla, Allison, Emily, Teeja, Hailey, Lauren, Evan,
Raina, Alexius, Izaak, Cole, Ty, Broden and Sofie.
 
She will be dearly missed and
yet forever in our Hearts.
We love you Grandma!

Beeton, Ontario at the Simcoe Manor.
Service and burial to take place in
Hornepayne in the Spring.

TOM SMITH- father of 5- Doris of Hanmer, Victoria of Flin Flon, Tammy of Hanmer, Debbie of Hornepayne and Tom of Hornepayne, husband to Marilyn of Hornepayne, love of her life-soulmate!
Lost his life in an ultralight accident May 21,1991at the age of 44.
Worked for CN Rail as an engineer.
He was a wonderful husband and an awesome Dad. There is not a day that goes by that we all don't think of him, miss him and love him.  Remember him as we do.
